Bad guys are increasingly targeting users via smartphones and texting. They send texts that trick users into exposing their personal information. At the moment, there is a shopping scam going on out there: It starts with a text invitation asking you to send an email to get more info. From there, you're roped into the scam, creating vulnerability for yourself and your contacts.
Any time you receive a text, remember to "Think Before You Tap." More and more, texts are used for identity theft, bank account take-overs and to acquire personal or company confidential information.
